Moving or just packing up in preparation to move? For your convenience we have compiled a printable list of steps to follow when preparing for your move from your old home to your new one, and for moving things into your storage rental at The Extra Attic. A little planning and organizing can go a long way when packing.

Always mark your boxes with a thick, dark marker. Number the boxes and list the main contents of the box and the room it should be placed in at your new home. Keep a list of the boxes you pack as you are packing. Be sure to include the box number, box's contents, and the name of the room where the box should be placed at your destination. Just as importantly as what to do is when to do it. Do not wait until the last minute, plan ahead and start early! Here is a more extensive, printable packing list for you to print off.
